We went to the Lucinda Williams concert on Friday. Auckland Town Hall is a great venue. Whilst I've seen some good concerts at the bigger places its nice to be in a smaller one where you are closer to the stage. I liked about a third of the songs so it wasn't the best concert I've been to recently but hey, it was a chance to put on my jeans and cowboy boots. Our ears were ringing afterwards as the music was loud and she belted out the songs. Not bad for a 56 year old.
I drank beer (Steinlager Pure since I'm boycotting DB).

I bet DB's hurting!
Is this all because of the pregnant barmaid giving a DB instead of wine?
No. It is in support of John Locke who is also going to boycot. 2nd fiddle should also give up drinking Tui.
Last time I had a Tui was probably a quiet drink as we delivery guys relaxed at Murray Robert's while yous counted the takings.
... And drank the good french wine. Richard would have been drinking Dry Sack or Dry Fly sherry though.
I went to the Lucinda Williams concert too. It's interesting going to concerts of people who have been around for a long time to look at the other concertgoers. People who you may or may not have known in the '70's are now looking like old farts. Funny that.
I keep seeing a pot and a kettle. Why is that, Comeinyourpants?
